Sixteen teams qualify for the Stanley Cup Playoffs: the top three teams in each of the NHL's four divisions, plus two wild-card teams per conference. Every round is a best-of-seven series.
The four rounds are the First Round, Second Round (Division Finals), Conference Finals, and the Stanley Cup Final.
Championship probability comes from 100,000 Monte Carlo simulations of the remaining regular-season schedule and, once the field is set, the bracket itself — using each team's Elo-style strength rating and home-ice advantage.
